Final Fantasy XV is the latest game to be adapted for iOS devices by Square Enix. The RPG has finally been made available on the App Store, where it can be purchased for $19.99 and downloaded onto an iPhone or iPad. Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition will follow the story of Noctis as he travels across his homeland with his buddies Gladiolus, Ignis and Prompto, who are all playable characters. The game features a robust battle system, with an iconic summons and magic attacks that were pulled straight from the console version of Final Fantasy XV, complete with an experience-based progression system and real-time action combat mechanics. Each chapter in Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition takes place during one of Noctis’ dreams in which he sees a vision of a woman asking for his help during a time of darkness engulfing their world – when he awakens from each dream he embarks on a mission to find her and protect her from harm. Players will take control of Noctis in these dream sequences as they encounter all manner of enemies such as daemons along their journey through each region including the arid desert lands around Altissia where they will cross paths with Cor Leonis – one of the most enigmatic figures in Final Fantasy XV – who has been tasked by Regent Cid to capture Lunafreya at all costs. While exploring these regions players can collect items that
will be useful for upgrading weapons or can save up to summon powerful creatures to attack foes.
Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition is set to launch on iOS and Android devices in early 2022.
